If you need another way to pass the time at work, CareerBuilder.com launched its hilarious Monk-E-Mails today. Now you can personalize and send funny greetings to your friends and family… for free.
Once you enter the site, you can choose which chimp you want to be your messenger, and then pick the animal’s hair, clothing, props and location (which range from an office to a satin-sheeted bedroom). You can also choose from three standard greetings, write a text-to-voice message or even record your own voice by phone.

I LOVE THE MONK E MAILS! BUT THEY NEED TO BE CHANGED ADD NEW HAIR,CLOTHES,ETC. THE SAME MONK E MAIL GETS OLD!!!!!AND BORING THEY ARE GREAT BUT THEY NEED A MAKEOVER! My sister is a monkey and she loves this site
One of our corporate bosses was in town and his wife sent him a monkey email because she missed him. We made fun of him for days. After he left, we started monkey-mailing and we haven’t stopped. The monkies need to get rid of the pumpkin; Halloween is over. Where is the turkey for Thanksgiving? The female monkey needs a bit of a makeover; she is so not feminine. Can we give her some earrings, a few hats and a couple more dresses; something “Vegas” perhaps; our monkies are in “sin city”. The banana shirt should be a shirt full of flowers. They need more places to hang out in. What about a park, a sports car, the movies, etc. Thanks though; the monkeys are very cool and great fun! Whoever thought of this is brilliant!
